Digital services: contact, reports and complaints
This page brings together what Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services (Digital Services Act, DSA) requires: who to contact, how to report content and what you can do if you disagree with a decision.
1. Provider
pending: betreiber name, pending: anschrift, NIF pending: nif. Onda is established in Spain; it does not need a legal representative in the EU.
2. Point of contact for authorities (Art. 11 DSA)
Member State authorities, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services can contact us at:
- Email: pending: email dsa
- Languages: Spanish and English (also German)
3. Point of contact for users (Art. 12 DSA)
If you use Onda or are affected by something published on Onda, contact us:
- Email: pending: email kontakt
- Form: Contact on the website
- Languages: Spanish, English and German
A person always replies, not an automated system.
4. How to report content (Art. 16 DSA)
Anyone, with or without an account, can report an event, a place, a live vibe report, a comment, a profile, a message, a special or a community:
- Tap Report on the content. Without an account you can do this from the content page or by writing to pending: email dsa.
- Choose a reason and explain why you believe the content is illegal or breaks our rules.
- Say where the content is. In the app we add this automatically; by email, send the exact link.
- Give your name and email. If you are logged in, we take them from your account. This is not required for child sexual abuse material.
- Confirm that you are acting in good faith and that the information is accurate and complete.
You will receive an acknowledgement with a case number (for example ONDA-2026-000123). A person reviews every report diligently, objectively and not arbitrarily. Our aim is to decide within 24 hours; if a report may harm someone’s reputation, we hide it while we review it. We will tell you our decision and how you can challenge it. If we use automated means in handling it, we will tell you.
The person affected does not receive your details, unless strictly necessary and permitted by law.
5. When we take action: statement of reasons (Art. 17 DSA)
If we remove or restrict your content, suspend your account or limit your access to a feature, we send you a clear explanation (in the app and by email) with:
- what measure we took, its scope and its duration;
- the facts and circumstances, and whether it followed a report or our own initiative;
- whether automated means were used to detect or decide;
- the law or the clause of the Terms of use applied and why;
- your options for redress.
Automated tools we use: a word filter for free text in the live vibe (rejects before saving) and automatic hiding of a vibe value when the community votes it incorrect (clause 4.5 of the terms). All other decisions are taken by a person.
6. Complaining about a decision
You can complain about any decision free of charge for at least six months, including if you reported something and we did not act:
- write to pending: email dsa with the case number and explain why you disagree;
- a person, where possible different from the one who decided, reviews the case and usually replies within 14 days;
- if the decision was not justified, we reverse it without delay.
You can also:
- go to the competent courts at any time;
- lodge a complaint with the Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia (CNMC), the Digital Services Coordinator in Spain (www.cnmc.es), or with the coordinator of your EU country of residence.
7. Orders from authorities and serious crimes
We act on orders to act against illegal content and to provide information issued by competent authorities (Articles 9 and 10 DSA). If we become aware of information giving rise to a suspicion of a crime threatening the life or safety of people, we inform the law enforcement or judicial authorities immediately (Article 18 DSA).
8. Transparency
pending: betreiber name is a micro or small enterprise within the meaning of Recommendation 2003/361/EC. It therefore does not publish annual transparency reports (Article 15(2) DSA), and Section 3 of Chapter III of the DSA does not apply to it, except Article 24(3) (Article 19 DSA). We nevertheless voluntarily offer the complaint procedure described in section 6. If the CNMC or the Commission ask, we provide information on the number of users.
